Factors related to the workforce, the workspace, and the work system but it is crucial that regardless of all these, companies and leaders endeavor to grow and maintain an intelligent workplace but how would you describe an intelligent workplace?

- In my opinion, an intelligent workplace is smart office. A workplace driven by technological innovations, cloud based functionality for file sharing and communication and SAP applications for resource sharing and management.
- An intelligent workplace is one where there’s free flow of ideas from all and sundry with due and unbiased credits, corrections and motivations given accordingly
- As a client, say I walk into a cooperate firm, workers do their jobs efficiently and are open to learning and applying new things about their jobs while on the job,
- An intelligent workplace is a work environment where everyone thrives on their role without fear of consequences of their human errors, high emotional intelligence between work colleagues and a level of decorum in the way disputes are sorted.
- I consider an intelligent workplace as one where the priority isn’t just about profits and loss, but one which elevates the culture of career growth for staff and effective service delivery.
- The idea of an intelligent workforce is simply one that is constantly using live data to evolve and adapt to changing market environment.
These six random descriptions of an intelligent workplace seeks for what should then be called a consensus definition of an intelligent workplace since various individuals prioritize different factors differently. This is blatantly so because people are work in separate work settings and for different purposes, every company are setup with its own purpose and drive, so does individuals who work therein.

In an intelligent workplace, the roles and responsibilities of each team member are clear, resources are readily available, and goals and timelines are well-defined, making it easy for even new employees to quickly understand how things work and get up to speed.
This setup idea does not exclude timing, this does not only improve productivity, it also enhances customers’ experience and confidence. It’s in the best interest of all that jobs are delivered timely and the workplace environment plays a huge role in that regard. It doesn’t matter if you’re an employee, a client or a total stranger who just comes around.
